The Master and Apprentice Competition 2024 is to run from the end of July to the final to be held on Sunday, 29th September.
The Master/Apprentice scheme is in its 3rd year and has been successful in assisting newer players gain skills, confidence and enjoyment in playing Bridge and to feel more a part of the Wagga bridge family.
Each Master (experienced club players) participating will pass on as much knowledge as practicable to their Apprentice before the Competition Day by playing together. The arrangements can be as flexible and varied to suit each Master/Apprentice pair.
Anyone can be an Apprentice.
Wagga Club encourages all players who are keen to improve their bridge, but newer players will be prioritised when Masters are being organised.
Members who would like to be Apprentices are encouraged to put their name on the form at the Club as soon as possible. The committee will then organise a Master for each Apprentice.
Masters and Apprentices are also welcome to organise their own pairings.
